Web Sites
1) Where is my Website on your server? Each account has its own area on one of our servers.The linux path to the account area is '/home/account_name'. Under this directory there is '/home/account_name/public_html', which is where your home page lives.2) How do I see my website statistics? We have three different versions of your website visitor statistics available. Please enter your control panel and select the web/ftp statistics option.3) E Commerce? If you have purchased an SkieBusiness or SkieProfessional web hosting package, you can use your Control Panel to setup your on-line shop using our OSCommerce system.OSCommerce is completely customisable. You'll need to spend a while 'playing' with it to gain experience in adding products and categories, prices, tax and shiiping charges, invoice and reporting and the general theme/layout of the site.For detailed support for OSCommerce and/or e-commerce / on-line credit card payments please contact us to discuss your requirements.4) Bandwidth / Traffic? We use Bandwidth to measure the amount of traffic (data transfer) your account is using. This includes all data transferred to or from your account - website visits, emails sent and received etc.The limit and the current amount used can be checked at any time using your Control Panel.Every account has a monthly limit which in most cases is more than sufficient. If you reach 80% of your limit you will receive an email (as long as you have a correct email address set up for yoor account).If you believe you may exceed your allowance for the month please contact us to arrange either a temporary increase (usually at no cost) or a permament increase (at a low cost). If your account exceeds your limit it will be suspended. <
